W7 Productions, LLC. a live streaming and video production company focusing on Wisconsin high school girls' athletics has launched their third annual fundraiser. Themed "Home is where our story begins…"W7 again will reward the designated school with the highest raised funds to be the W7 Home School for 2020-21. When individuals/organizations make a contribution, they list the high school they wish to have their contribution counted toward and at the end of the fundraiser the overall highest contributing high school becomes the W7 "Home School" for the following year. The fundraiser will conclude at 11:59pm on March 31, 2020. The announcement of the 2020-21 W7 Home School will be made on site at the winning school on Wednesday April 1, 2020 at 6:45am. The announcement will be live streamed on all W7 social media pages and the W7 website. All female athletes, coaches, and parents are invited to attend.
“We believe what we do best is tell the stories of female athletes in our state” said Gary Wipperman, owner of W7 Productions. “While we serve all the girls, we have had special relationships with each of our W7 Home Schools the past two year and we are excited to meet our Home School for 2020-21. This will be another exciting event and we look forward to being at our winner’s school on April 1 to make the live announcement.”
The 2019 fundraiser for W7 raised over $12,000 and the 2019-20 W7 Home School is Slinger High School. The 2018 fundraiser brought in just over $6,000 and the 2018-19 W7 Home School was Brookfield Central High School. The proceeds from the fundraiser are used for new equipment, compensation for staff, reimbursement of expenses, and maintenance associated with software licensing and the W7 website.
